People of the village Chah Miana are people of
hospitality, honesty, valoury and simplicity. Their mother tongue is Saraiki, they
wear National Dress. Professions of the village are farming, labour Govt
Services, Armed Force and Police Force, some of them are abroad.
Life style of the people: -
Even
in the modern age of machineries people of the village use olden ways of
farming like ploughing the field through camel and oxen. Women carry lunch with
“ Lassi” butter, and “Tandori Bread” to fields after their husband. Even in the
presence of fridge, people used to store cool water in the pitchers.
At
the time of harvesting crops, people harvest the crops of one another
collectively, turn wise. This tradition is called “ Wingaar” people in “
Wingaar” are usually entertained with butter milk, pet chicken and “Halwa”. Drummers
are also invited for the purpose to encourage and excite them to do more work, “Wingaar:”
is used in almost every such activity like thrashing of crop metolling of roof.
Activities like blowing of flute sound and songs of Attaullah Esa khelvi are
entertaining tools at late night.
In
afternoon, people normally take rest under shadowy trees, some inhabitants swim
into the water of the canal. Shepherds graze their herd of sheep and goats, women
normally wash clothes with the water of tube well and river. Youngster passes
their time in grounds field and on the mounds.
You
will find grey haired people inside hujras (Bethak) in different activities.
The
scenery of dusk, the radish orange color of sun makes the color of water of
Indus River orange, and the moving trains between the field of grains is
entertaining are Barter Trade in there in the village, working class like black
smith, barber, carpenter, shoe maker etc do their services for the village and
at the time of crop harvesting they receive their rewards.
In
marriages, people are invited through Barber Marriages in Mianwali are
considered incomplete without firing and dance.
On
the death of a villager, all the people of the village assist the mourners, in
each and every aspect to lesson them.
